| Honoring Chad Mark as the 2013 TurfNet Superintendent of the Year. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Chad Mark on receiving the 2013 TurfNet Superintendent of the Year Award, sponsored by Syngenta Turf and Landscape; and |
| WHEREAS, This prestigious distinction is a fitting tribute to Chad Mark for the exemplary efforts he has displayed as superintendent of The Kirtland Country Club golf course. During his ten-year tenure, he has communicated regularly with members and staff and worked continuously to enhance the course, including a major restoration, drainage improvements, and an irrigation upgrade, and during 2013, he successfully coordinated clean-up and repairs after a flood event; and |
| WHEREAS, Chad Mark is truly a remarkable individual, for he has combined civic concern and commitment with selfless initiative to become a dynamic force in the community. Through his decisive leadership, he has distinguished himself as a conscientious and responsible Ohioan, and we are certain that he will continue to demonstrate the same unwavering dedication to service and achievement for which he has become known; and |
| WHEREAS, Willingly giving of his time, energy, and abilities far beyond what was required or expected, Chad Mark has striven to better the world around him. Through his tremendous contributions, he has earned the respect and esteem of all who know him, and he is, indeed, deserving of high praise; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Chad Mark on his national accolade and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Chad Mark. |
