| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Paige Keller on winning first place in the vault event at the 2014 Ohio High School Athletic Association State Gymnastics Championship; and |
| WHEREAS, Paige Keller is, indeed, a remarkable young athlete. A senior at Greenville High School, she has combined natural talent with concentration and perseverance to distinguish herself as one of the finest gymnasts in the Darke County area, and we applaud her on her tireless efforts; and |
| WHEREAS, Paige Keller has exemplified all of the characteristics that are essential for success both in and out of the sports world, including courage, discipline, integrity, and an innate sense of the principles of good sportsmanship. Through her unwavering commitment to excellence, she has established herself as a true champion; and |
| WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role in the total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to extend special recognition to Paige Keller for her outstanding performance at this year's Ohio High School Athletic Association State Gymnastics Championship, where she tied for first in the vault event with a score of 9.750. Clearly, her enthusiastic involvement in gymnastics has enabled her to learn much about dedication and leadership, and in the process, her exceptional prowess has made her family and her friends very proud; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Paige Keller as a 2014 State Gymnastics Champion and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Paige Keller. |
