| Honoring Sheri Duffey on being named Warden of the Year by the American Correctional Association. |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Sheri Duffey as the American Correctional Association's Warden of the Year; and |
| WHEREAS, Sheri Duffey is, indeed, deserving of high praise for the many contributions she has made to her field. Starting her career as a correction officer for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction in 1988, she became warden of the Ohio Reformatory for Women in 2007 and was assigned to the Southeastern Correctional Complex in 2009. Indeed, she has brought insight and exceptional ability to her important work, and we salute her on her exemplary record of accomplishment; and |
| WHEREAS, Whether occupying center stage or working diligently in the wings, Sheri Duffey has always made her dynamic, supportive presence felt. By fulfilling her myriad responsibilities with the utmost competence, she has consistently inspired all those around her to excel; and |
| WHEREAS, It is through the unsurpassed commitment of conscientious professionals such as Sheri Duffey that the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction continues to prosper and remains responsive to the needs of all citizens. Her efforts have certainly earned the appreciation of many; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Sheri Duffey as Warden of the Year and applaud her for being an exceptional Ohioan; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Sheri Duffey. |
