| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to to extend special recognition to Andy Fetchik on being named the 2015 OASSA High School Principal of the Year; and |
| WHEREAS, Selection for this prestigious distinction is an honor of which Andy Fetchik can be proud, for he has been selected by the nation's largest school administration organization for contributing outstanding school leadership, providing high quality learning opportunities for youth, and being a role model for students and staff alike. Serving as principal of Chardon High School, he has performed his duties and fulfilled his responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence, demonstrating a strong belief in education and an even stronger belief in his students; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout Andy Fetchik's career in the field of education, he has supported countless students in their scholastic endeavors and has helped to nurture within them a desire for academic excellence. Willingly giving of his time, energy, and abilities far beyond what was required or expected, he has earned the respect and gratitude of his colleagues, his community, and, most importantly, his students, and we applaud him on his fine efforts; and |
| WHEREAS, Andy Fetchik can be assured that as a creative champion of classroom excellence, he has never failed to inspire others by his own professional example, and his career will long stand as a hallmark worthy of emulation. Over the years, he has constructively shaped the lives of numerous young people by providing them with invaluable direction to prepare them for meaningful roles as productive, upstanding citizens of our communities; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 130th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Andy Fetchik on his innumerable contributions to the field of education in the State of Ohio and extend best wishes in his future endeavors; and be it further |
