AN ACT
To amend section 3301.171 of the Revised Code to eliminate the fifty-dollar
limit on the course fee that a board of education may charge a pupil enrolled
in a driver education course.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio:
SECTION 1 . That section 3301.171 of the Revised Code be amended to read as
follows:
Sec. 3301.171. A board of education that makes available a driver education
course pursuant to section 3301.17 of the Revised Code may require pupils
enrolled in the course to pay a course fee not to exceed the lesser of
fifty
dollars, or the actual cost per pupil of providing driver education less
the
state driver education reimbursement per pupil. SECTION 2 . That existing section 3301.171 of the Revised Code is hereby
repealed.
