A BILL
To enact section 5533.09 of the Revised Code to designate Interstate Route 76 "The Military Order of the Purple Heart Memorial Highway."

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:


Section 1. That section 5533.09 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 5533.09. THAT PORTION OF THE ROAD KNOWN AS INTERSTATE ROUTE SEVENTY-SIX, RUNNING IN AN EASTERLY AND WESTERLY DIRECTION, COMMENCING AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH INTERSTATE SEVENTY-ONE IN MEDINA COUNTY AND EXTENDING THROUGH THE COUNTIES OF SUMMIT AND PORTAGE TO ITS INTERSECTION WITH INTERSTATE EIGHTY IN MAHONING COUNTY, SHALL BE KNOWN AS "THE MILITARY ORDER OF THE PURPLE HEART MEMORIAL HIGHWAY."

THE DIRECTOR OF TRANSPORTATION MAY ERECT SUITABLE MARKERS ALONG THE HIGHWAY INDICATING ITS NAME.
