A BILL
To amend section 2505.12 of the Revised Code to exempt nonmonetary administrative-related appeals from the requirement of a supersedeas bond.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1.  That section 2505.12 of the Revised Code be amended to read as follows:
Sec. 2505.12.  A An appellant is not required to give a supersedeas bond does not have to be given in connection with an any of the following:
(A) An appeal by any of the following:
(A) Executors (1) An executor, administrators administrator, guardians guardian, receivers receiver, trustees trustee, or trustees trustee in bankruptcy, who is acting in their respective that person's trust capacities, capacity and who have has given bond in this state, with surety according to law;
(B)(2) The state or any political subdivision of the state;
(C)(3) Any public officer of the state or of any of its political subdivisions who is suing or is sued solely in his the public officer's representative capacity as such that officer.
(B) An administrative-related appeal of a final order that is not for the payment of money.
Section 2.  That existing section 2505.12 of the Revised Code is hereby repealed.
