A BILL
To amend section 4737.99 of the Revised Code to increase the penalty for violating the law governing junk yards and secondhand dealers.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 4737.99 of the Revised Code be amended to read as follows:
Sec. 4737.99. (A) Whoever violates sections 4737.01 to
4737.11, inclusive,
of
the Revised Code, shall be fined not less than twenty-five nor
more than one
thousand dollars and the costs of prosecution this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree. Section 2. That existing section 4737.99 of the Revised Code is hereby repealed. |
