A BILL

To enact section 5.2283 of the Revised Code to designate April 27 as "Emma 'Grandma' Gatewood Day."

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 5.2283 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 5.2283. The twenty-seventh day of April is designated as "Emma 'Grandma' Gatewood Day," in honor of the legendary hiker who was a founder of the buckeye trail, which was declared the official hiking trail of the state on that day in 1967.
