·        Designates October as "German Heritage Month" (R.C. 5.2233).

·        Creates Ohio C.O.P.S. (Ohio Concerns of Police Survivors) license plates and requires persons who obtain them to pay a contribution of $15 (R.C. 4503.712).

·        Creates "Children with Medical Handicaps" license plates and requires persons who obtain them to pay a contribution of $20 (R.C. 4503.722).

·        Creates "Civil Air Patrol" license plates (R.C. 4503.731).

·        Creates "Support Our Troops" license plates and requires persons who obtain them to pay a contribution of $25 (R.C. 4503.92).

·        Creates Ohio "Volunteer" license plates and requires persons who obtain them to pay a contribution of $15 (R.C. 4503.93).

·        Permits political subdivisions to submit a joint request to the Director of Transportation to name a bridge that is part of the state highway system (R.C. 5511.09).

·        Designates Interstate Routes 70 and 71 as the "Purple Heart Trail" (R.C. 5533.09).

·        Designates part of United States Route 50 in Clermont County as the "LCPL Nicholas B. Erdy Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.101).

·        Designates part of State Route 131 in Clermont County as the "Sam Bateman Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.116).

·        Designates State Route 11 within Ashtabula County as the "Marine Private Henry Kalinowski Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.281).

·        Designates the bridge that spans the south fork of the Licking River and that is on State Route 13 in Licking County as the "K.I.A. Memorial Bridge" (R.C. 5533.321).

·        Designates Interstate Route 71 within Middleburg  Heights as the "Corporal Brad D. Squires Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.332).

·        Designates State Route 2 within Willoughby as the "Brian Montgomery Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.632).

·        Designates part of State Route 188 within Fairfield County as the "Deputy Ethan Collins Memorial Road" (R.C. 5533.75).

·        Designates part of United States Route 30 within Crawford County as the "Lieutenant Harry L. Martin Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.76).

·        Designates parts of State Routes 5 and 82 within Trumbull County as the "President Ronald Wilson Reagan Outerbelt" (R.C. 5533.77).

·        Designates part of State Route 44 in Lake County as the "Andy Nowacki Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.91).

·        Designates part of United States Route 30 in Crawford County as the "Staff Sergeant Kendall H. Ivy II Memorial Highway" (R.C. 5533.92).

·        Designates the bridge over the Ohio River at Pomeroy in Meigs County as the "Bridge of Honor" (R.C. 5533.93).

·        Requires the Department of Transportation to erect and maintain one sign each in the northbound and southbound roadways of Interstate Route 75 approaching Exit Number 74 that reads "Hobart Institute of Welding Technology Exit 74" (Section 4).

·        Designates the portion of the Western Reserve Greenway Bike Path located in Trumbull County as the "Garrett Wonders Memorial Bikeway" (Section 5).

·        States that the General Assembly recognizes the historical significance of the mining shovel The Silver Spade and supports the efforts of the Harrison Coal and Reclamation Historical Park to save it as a tourist attraction (Section 8).

·        States that the General Assembly recognizes the significance of the eastern states, including Ohio, in the preparation for, and the return of, the Lewis and Clark Expedition and supports the extension of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail to include such additional sites (Section 9).

·        States that the General Assembly recognizes the importance of the National Road, known as United States Route 40, and its role in the development of this nation and designates the year 2006, the bicentennial of its authorization by Congress, as the Year of the Historic National Road (Section 10).
