CONTENT AND OPERATION
Lyme disease is a tick-transmitted disease characterized at first by a skin rash, headache, and fever and later by arthritis and heart damage. The bill designates May as "Ohio Lyme Disease Awareness Month" to increase public awareness of Lyme disease as a health concern (R.C. 5.2235).
