CONTENT AND OPERATION
Lyme disease is a tick-transmitted disease characterized at first by a skin rash, headache, and fever and later by arthritis and heart damage. The bill designates the month of May as "Ohio Lyme Disease Awareness Month" to increase public awareness of Lyme disease as a health concern (R.C. 5.2237).
