CONTENT AND OPERATION

The bill adopts the children's book Lentil as the official children's book of Ohio and designates its author, Robert McCloskey, who was born in Hamilton, Ohio, as the official children's book author of Ohio (R.C. 5.091).

Lentil, published in 1940, is about Lentil, a fictional boy about ten or 11 years old, who lives in a typical Midwestern town, the fictional Alto, Ohio.
