·         Requires the Department of Transportation to erect distance and directional information signs on state highways to indicate the location of United States Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers, outpatient clinics, and community-based outpatient clinics.

CONTENT AND OPERATION

Signs on state highways for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs medical facilities

The bill requires the Department of Transportation to erect signs on state highways that display distance and directional information to indicate the location of United States Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers, outpatient clinics, and community-based outpatient clinics.  All signs ODOT erects under the bill must conform in size, color, location, and content to standards contained in the "Ohio Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices."  (R.C. 4511.109.)
