Detailed Fiscal Analysis

The bill authorizes the conveyance of state-owned real estate located in Wood County once occupied by the Department of Public Safety and used as a State Highway Patrol post. Recently a new post was built, making this property surplus to the Department of Public Safety’s needs.  Lake Township would acquire the property for $40,000, and would be responsible for paying the recordation fees associated with the acquisition.  Lake Township intends to use the property for its Emergency Medical Services facility and Emergency Operations Center.
