Detailed Fiscal Analysis

The bill designates the spotted salamander (Ambystoma maculatum) as the official state amphibian of Ohio.  While there is no direct fiscal effect on the state or local governments, it is possible that the Department of Natural Resources, specifically the Division of Wildlife, may make minor changes to printed materials and its web site to reference the official status of the animal.  However, the bill does not require any action by the state or political subdivisions.
