Detailed Fiscal Analysis

The bill designates May as the "ALS Awareness Month" to increase public awareness and understanding of the disease and to encourage efforts in finding treatments and a cure.  ALS stands for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, which is commonly referred to as Lou Gehrig's disease.  The bill does not require any action on the part of state or local governmental entities.  Thus, there will be no fiscal impact.
