Detailed Fiscal Analysis

The bill would adopt the Ohio Tartan as the official tartan of the state.  A tartan is a fabric pattern commonly know in the United States as "plaid" and is generally associated with many of the traditional costumes of Great Britain.  The Ohio Tartan consists of the following pattern of stripes:  six red, sixteen green, two azure, six blue, two azure, eighteen gold, six blue, eighteen gold, two azure, six blue, two azure, sixteen red, and six white.  The colors of the tartan represent various aspects of Ohio's history and heritage.  The bill would have no fiscal impact on state agencies or political subdivisions.
