Modified the provision in the House-passed version of the bill that authorized a law enforcement officer to seize property that the officer has reasonable cause to believe is subject to forfeiture to instead authorize a law enforcement officer to seize property that the officer has probable cause to believe is subject to forfeiture (R.C. 2981.03(A)(2)).

Changed a reference in the House-passed version of the bill to the general fund of the state to a reference to the general revenue fund of the state (R.C. 2981.12(C)).

Changed the effective date of the bill's provisions from July 1, 2006, to July 1, 2007 (Section 4 of the bill).

Made other technical and nonsubstantive clarifying changes.
