A BILL

To enact section 3707.55 of the Revised Code to allow the board of health of a city or general health district to own property.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 3707.55 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 3707.55. A BOARD OF HEALTH OF A CITY OR GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT MAY ACQUIRE, CONVEY, LEASE, OR ENTER INTO A CONTRACT TO PURCHASE, LEASE, OR SELL PROPERTY FOR THE BOARD AND RELATED PURPOSES, AND ENTER INTO LOAN AGREEMENTS, INCLUDING MORTGAGES, FOR THE ACQUISITION OF SUCH PROPERTY.
