A BILL
To formally state the General Assembly's intentions in its upcoming deliberations on reforming Ohio's laws to encourage strong and safe families and communities in Ohio.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. The General Assembly, in its on-going efforts to encourage strong and safe families and communities in Ohio, may examine the following matters:
(A) Providing mechanisms in which families will be provided a greater degree of economic security;
(B) Promoting the wellness and well-being of children, particularly in their crucial developmental years;
(C) Reviewing and enhancing the laws providing for the protection of Ohio's children and older Ohioans;
(D) Addressing the dangers of drug abuse and violence through proactive community engagement;
(E) Other matters that the General Assembly considers relevant to ensure strong and safe families and communities in the State of Ohio.
