A BILL
To enact section 5.2236 of the Revised Code to
designate October 22 of each year "U.S.S. Hocking
Day."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5.2236 of the Revised Code be enacted
to read as follows:
Sec. 5.2236. The twenty-second day of October shall be
designated "U.S.S. Hocking Day," in honor of the distinguished
career of the U.S.S. Hocking, a World War II attack transport
ship, the navy crewmen who served on it, and the marines who were
carried into battle on it.
