A BILL

To enact section 5.2235 of the Revised Code to designate February as "Black History Month."

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5.2235 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 5.2235. The month of February is designated as "Black History Month" to honor and recognize the contributions that African Americans have made in the history of this state and the United States.
