A BILL
To enact section 755.021 of the Revised Code to
authorize the dissolution of a municipal board of
park commissioners.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 755.021 of the Revised Code be
enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 755.021. The legislative authority of a municipal
corporation may vote
to dissolve its board of park commissioners
and may adopt an
ordinance to transfer the responsibility for the
continued
operation and maintenance of municipal parks to the
director of
public service. Upon adoption of the ordinance, the
board of park
commissioners ceases to exist.
