A BILL

To enact section 5.2266 of the Revised Code to designate March as Women's Veterans Month.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 5.2266 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 5.2266. The month of March is designated as "Women's Veterans Month," to honor and recognize the contributions of women in the service of the state and the United States, and to encourage the Ohio department of veterans services and other agencies to reach out to women veterans, to understand their specific needs and concerns, and to consider policy solutions that will improve the quality of life for women veterans within this state.
