A BILL
To enact section 5.091 of the Revised Code to declare
that Ohio is a "Purple Heart State."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5.091 of the Revised Code be enacted
to read as follows:
Sec. 5.091. Ohio is declared to be a "Purple Heart State,"
honoring our combat wounded veterans for their service and
sacrifice by allowing the United States of America to maintain its
sovereignty. Ohio is declared to be the first "Purple Heart State"
in the United States of America.
