A BILL
To amend section 5533.774 of the Revised Code to
designate Interstate Route 75 as the "Tuskegee
Airmen Memorial Trail."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5533.774 of the Revised Code be
amended to read as follows:
Sec. 5533.774. (A)(1) That portion of the road known as state
route one hundred four, commencing at its intersection with United
States route twenty-three and extending to its intersection with
Lockbourne road, shall be known as the "Tuskegee Airmen Memorial
Highway."
(2) In addition to the designations in sections 5533.24 and
5533.241 of the Revised Code, that portion of the road known as
interstate route seventy-five, running throughout Ohio in a
northerly and southerly direction, from the Michigan border in
Lucas county, through the counties of Wood, Hancock, Allen,
Auglaize, Shelby, Miami, Montgomery, Warren, and Butler, to the
Kentucky border in Hamilton county, shall be known as the
"Tuskegee Airmen Memorial Trail."
(B) The director of transportation may erect suitable markers
along upon the designated portion of each highway indicating its
name.
Section 2. That existing section 5533.774 of the Revised
Code is hereby repealed.
