A BILL
To enact section 5.2268 of the Revised Code to
designate September 23 as "Hereditary
Hemochromatosis Awareness Day."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5.2268 of the Revised Code be enacted
to read as follows:
Sec. 5.2268. The twenty-third day of September is designated
as "Hereditary Hemochromatosis Awareness Day" to increase public
awareness and understanding of this genetic disorder that causes
individuals to absorb and retain excess iron.
