A BILL
To enact section 5.2288 of the Revised Code to
designate March 14, 2014, as "Lee Strawn Day" in
honor of Lee Strawn's service to the state and to
declare an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5.2288 of the Revised Code be
enacted to read as follows:
Sec. 5.2288. March 14, 2014, is designated as "Lee Strawn
Day," in honor of Lee Strawn, born on that day in 1914, for his
service to the state.
Section 2. This act is an emergency measure necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, and
safety. The reason for such necessity is to ensure that Lee
Strawn's service to the state is recognized in a timely manner.
Therefore, this act goes into immediate effect.
