A BILL
To provide funds for opioid addiction treatment and
rehabilitation services, to make an appropriation,
and to name this act the "Save Our Children Now
Act."
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. Of the unexpended and unencumbered portion of the
state share appropriation made to GRF appropriation item 651525,
Medicaid/Health Care Services, in Am. Sub. H.B. 59 of the 130th
General Assembly, at the end of fiscal year 2014, $100,000,000 is
hereby reappropriated for fiscal year 2015 to GRF appropriation
item 335421, Continuum of Care Services. These moneys shall be
distributed by the Department of Mental Health and Addiction
Services to the boards of alcohol, drug addiction, and mental
health services and shall be used to provide opioid addiction
treatment and rehabilitation services.
Section 2. This act shall be known as the "Save Our Children
Now Act."
