A BILL
To enact section 5.45 of the Revised Code to
designate the week including September 11 and
September 17 each year as Patriot Week.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That section 5.45 of the Revised Code be enacted
to read as follows:
Sec. 5.45. The week that includes September 11 and September
17 each year is designated as patriot week, to bring to mind the
terrorist attack of September 11, 2001, and to commemorate the
signing of the Constitution of the United States on September 17,
1787. Patriot week is to encourage Ohioans to renew their
appreciation of and reverence for the United States.
