A BILL
To review provisions of the Election Law to ensure
that Ohioans' constitutional right to free speech
is protected.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. It is the General Assembly's intent to ensure that
Ohioans' constitutional right to freedom of speech is protected
and to review sections 3501.35 and 3599.20 of the Revised Code
regarding their constitutionality and any potential risk of
criminalizing free speech.
