A BILL

To enact section 5534.42 of the Revised Code to designate a portion of United States Route 23 within Wyandot County as the "OSHP Sgt. John F. Best Memorial Highway."

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 5534.42 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 5534.42. In addition to any other name prescribed in the Revised Code or otherwise, that portion of the highway known as United States route number twenty-three, commencing at the intersection of that route and Wyandot county road number forty-two and proceeding in a southerly direction to the intersection of that route and Wyandot county road number forty-four, shall be known as the "OSHP Sgt. John F. Best Memorial Highway."

The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
