A BILL

To enact section 5120.71 of the Revised Code to require the Director of Rehabilitation and Correction to establish programs in state correctional institutions to teach and promote entrepreneurship.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1. That section 5120.71 of the Revised Code be enacted to read as follows:

Sec. 5120.71. The director of rehabilitation and correction shall adopt rules under section 5120.01 of the Revised Code to establish programs in state correctional institutions to teach and promote entrepreneurship by prisoners. Upon request of the director, the chancellor of the Ohio board of regents shall assist the director in the establishment of the programs.
