Honoring the Miamisburg High School Destination ImagiNation team for its exemplary performance at the 2009 state and global tournaments.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:


       WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Miamisburg High School Destination ImagiNation team on winning first place in the state competition and third place in the global competition in the "Video Lit Hits" challenge; and

       WHEREAS, The members of the Miamisburg High School Destination ImagiNation team are a remarkable group of young academicians, combining talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge to place first in the state and third in the world in the "Video Lit Hits" division of this year's Destination ImagiNation competition. Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, members John Fontaine, Michael Fontaine, Betsie Naylor, Tom Naylor, Greg Pelfrey, Megan Seivert, and Duke Trinh displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud; and

       WHEREAS, The success of the Miamisburg High School Destination ImagiNation team is a fitting tribute to the excellent leadership provided by its managers, Jim Fontaine, Donna Fontaine, and Amy Jendruczak, who gave tirelessly of their time, energy, and expertise to guide the group. The maturity and experience the students have gained through their participation in Destination ImagiNation will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future; and

       WHEREAS, The members' accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their teammates, their managers, and their school. They have exhibited a sincere desire to fully develop their abilities so that they might fulfill their goals in the future, and this, coupled with their maturity and initiative, shows their potential to become tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it

       RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Miamisburg High School Destination ImagiNation team on its accomplishments and salute the members and managers as some of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further

       RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Miamisburger High School Destination ImagiNation team.
