Honoring Ayla Eley as the 2009 Miss Teen Ohio-World.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:


       WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Ayla Eley on being crowned Miss Teen Ohio-World for 2009; and

       WHEREAS, An intelligent, poised, and motivated young woman, Ayla Eley has developed her knowledge and skills and has striven to meet challenges with enthusiasm and confidence. She has displayed an exceptional willingness to work hard to attain superior results, and through her unfaltering devotion, she has been selected as this year's Miss Teen Ohio-World, our state's representative to the 2009 Miss Teen United States-World Pageant; and

       WHEREAS, A junior at Lincolnview High School, where she is the class secretary and a member of the select choir, the Spanish, drama, and science clubs, and the volleyball, track, and cheerleading teams, Ayla Eley is also involved with the Van Wert Junior Fair Board and Carteens, the Middle Point Leaders of the Future 4-H Club, and Middle Point United Methodist Church, and she has derived extra energy from her many activities and accomplishments. Indeed, her amiable style will carry her far beyond this event and will be of great value to her in the years to come; and

       WHEREAS, The achievements of Ayla Eley are a justifiable source of pride not only for her family and friends but also for the entire Middle Point community. She has shown a sincere desire to fully develop her talents so that she might fulfill her goals in the future, and this, coupled with her maturity and initiative, shows her potential to become one of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it

       RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Ayla Eley on her recent accolade and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

       RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Ayla Eley.
