Representatives Brown, Gardner, Sears, Szollosi, Ujvagi
Honoring Kurt Erichsen
as the recipient of the 2009 John Bosley Award.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Kurt Erichsen on being presented with the 2009 John Bosley Award by the National Association of Regional Councils; and |
| WHEREAS, Kurt Erichsen is a remarkable individual, for he has combined civic concern with selfless initiative to become a valued local leader. Through his unfaltering devotion to service, he has distinguished himself as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan, and he is truly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Through Kurt Erichsen's efforts as vice president of environmental planning for the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments, he has been an advocate for sustainable practices in natural resource and water conservation. Through his generous contributions, he has earned the respect and esteem of many, and we are certain that in the years to come, he will continue to display the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which he has become known; and |
| WHEREAS, Kurt Erichsen has willingly given of his time, energy, and abilities to better the world around him and has displayed a degree of competence and skill of which he can be proud. It is through the efforts of public spirited individuals such as he, who are dedicated to serving the community to the best of their ability, that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Kurt Erichsen on his exemplary accomplishment and salute him as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Kurt Erichsen. |
