A RESOLUTION

Honoring INFOhio
on its Twentieth Anniversary.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend INFOhio on the memorable occasion of its Twentieth Anniversary; and |
| WHEREAS, In 1989 a cooperative project between OhioLINK, the State Library of Ohio, and OPLIN, was created to establish an electronic network linking the students, teachers, library and media specialists of Ohio via computer to school libraries in the same district and across the state, and as a result, INFOhio was founded by funds allocated by the General Assembly in 1994. Over the years, the program has enhanced the quality of life in the surrounding area, and all those associated with INFOhio are deserving of praise for their endeavors to serve their community to the best of their ability; and |
| WHEREAS, INFOhio has made many significant contributions to the community and has earned the
well-deserved respect and appreciation of all those it has served. This milestone anniversary is a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on the project itself but also on its hard-working staff and volunteers; and

| WHEREAS, As it commemorates its Twentieth Anniversary, INFOhio has the opportunity to reaffirm its goals and to formulate policies to meet the challenges and responsibilities of the future. We are certain that in the years to come, this praiseworthy organization will continue to display the same dedication to effectiveness and efficiency for which it has become known; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, appauld INFOhio on its Twentieth Anniversary and salute its administrators and staff as fine Ohioans; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to INFOhio. |
