Honoring Willoughby South High School
on its Fiftieth Anniversary.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Willoughby South High School on the memorable occasion of its Fiftieth Anniversary; and |
| WHEREAS, Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to Willoughby South High School, for throughout the past half century, it has played a vital role in preparing countless young people to meet the challenges of the future. Known for the high quality of education it has offered countless young people, the school has established itself as an outstanding educational institution in the State of Ohio; and |
| WHEREAS, In working to meet the criteria for educational excellence, the faculty and administration of Willoughby South High School have demonstrated great commitment, leadership, foresight, and support in providing their students with the best possible education and in promoting achievement in all facets of school life. With energy and enthusiasm, the staff has worked diligently to develop and implement a comprehensive, innovative course of study designed to improve student performance, responsibility, and participation; and |
| WHEREAS, For fifty years, this closely knit scholastic community has championed ambitious standards and encouraged lofty goals in all of its members. The remarkable people who currently direct and sustain the school, not only caring for its physical structure but also initiating and supporting its many edifying works and programs, serve area residents with vision and vigor, proving daily that they understand the importance of perpetuating the virtues of the past, even while embracing the ideals of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, we applaud Willoughby South High School on its Fiftieth Anniversary and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Willoughby South High School. |
