A RESOLUTION
Honoring Samantha Zuch
on winning two 2010 Division II State Swimming titles.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend Samantha Zuch as the 2010 Division II State Champion in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events; and |
| WHEREAS, Displaying exceptional form, ability, leadership, and dedication as a member of the Napoleon High School swim team, Samantha Zuch has certainly distinguished herself as one of the most talented swimmers in the State of Ohio. At this year's Division II State meet, she won first place in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events and helped the 200-yard freestyle relay team win first place as well; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout the 2009-2010 season, Samantha Zuch had prepared conscientiously in pursuit of the state crown, devoting countless hours to training and practice in order to ensure peak conditioning. Clearly, this demanding regimen has paid handsome dividends, for she has claimed her second consecutive state title in the 200- and 500-yard freestyle events; and |
| WHEREAS, Despite sometimes grueling pressure, Samantha Zuch has consistently maintained her composure and morale, exhibiting strength, speed, and stamina in every challenging encounter. Time and again, she has risen to the occasion, amply demonstrating her unflagging determination, and she has set an example for others to emulate; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, honor Samantha Zuch on her personal success and extend best wishes for the years to come; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Samantha Zuch. |
