A RESOLUTION
Honoring Tanner Hatcher
on selling the most popcorn in the nation for the Boy Scouts of America.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Tanner Hatcher as the number one Boy Scout popcorn seller in the nation for 2009; and |

WHEREAS, Tanner Hatcher is a remarkable young man, combining civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative to become a dynamic member of the Boy Scouts of America. During the 2009 Boy Scout popcorn sale, he sold $61,248.60 worth of product to set the one-year record and become the top seller in the country, and his total sales since 2006 have reached $102,845.60; and |
| WHEREAS, A Boy Scout is revered around the world for his commitment to leadership in, and charitable service to, his community, and Tanner Hatcher's impressive credentials readily confirm how very worthy he is of recognition. For his hard work and strength of character, he is truly deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Scouting combines the wisdom and leadership of adults with the enthusiasm and optimism of youth so that our young people will be better prepared to meet the challenges of the future. Tanner Hatcher's continued participation in the Scouting program will serve as a source of inspiration to those Scouts who follow in his path, encouraging them to strive for excellence; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Tanner Hatcher for outstanding achievement and salute him as one of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Tanner Hatcher. |
