Honoring The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation as a 2010 Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Award recipient.

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:


       WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation on receiving the Ohio Nonprofit Excellence Award in the southern region/small budget category, May 11, 2010; and

       WHEREAS, This prestigious honor is a fitting tribute to The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation, for it has achieved a remarkable record of service to the area. Striving to preserve and improve sight, the foundation opened the Roselawn Eye Clinic in 2008 to offer a variety of free vision services to low-income, underinsured adults, and its accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the organization itself but also on its dedicated volunteers and on the community; and

       WHEREAS, Over the years, The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation has enhanced the quality of life within the surrounding area, and through its generous contributions, it has earned the respect and gratitude of many. We are certain that as this worthy agency maintains its dedication to providing quality care, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has become its hallmark, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and

       WHEREAS, We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of organizations such as The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation that Ohio has gained a reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of its citizens and has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it

       RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation on its recent accolade and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

       RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to The Cincinnati Eye Institute Foundation.
