A RESOLUTION
Honoring Nikki Craft
as a 2010 Division II State Diving Gold Medalist.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Nikki Craft on winning a gold medal at the 2010 Division II Ohio High School Swimming and Diving Championships; and |
| WHEREAS, Nikki Craft is deserving of this distinction, which acknowledges the formidable athletic gifts and the competitive spirit that she has so amply revealed throughout the season as a standout for the Bay High School girls swimming and diving team. She has exhibited the skill, strength, agility, and stamina that befit a genuine champion, and as a result, she placed first at this year's Division II Ohio High School Swimming and Diving Championships to win her third consecutive crown; and |
| WHEREAS, Nikki Craft's accomplishments and leadership, both in and out of competition, are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on her but also on her family, her teammates, her coaches, her school, and her community. It is no surprise that she has won so many admirers; and |
| WHEREAS, Nikki Craft's unwavering commitment to excellence has earned her this prestigious distinction, and she is certainly worthy of high esteem. Indeed, the same maturity and experience she has gained through her preparation and participation in this competition will greatly aid her in meeting the challenges of the future; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Nikki Craft on her personal success and salute her as one of Ohio's finest young athletes; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Nikki Craft. |
