Honoring Rita Haynes
as the recipient of the 2009 Herb Wegner Memorial Award.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Rita Haynes on being presented with the 2009 Herb Wegner Memorial Award for Individual Achievement by the National Credit Union Foundation; and |
| WHEREAS, Rita Haynes is a remarkable individual, for she has combined civic concern with selfless initiative to become a valued local leader. Through her unfaltering devotion to service, she has distinguished herself as a conscientious and hard-working Ohioan, and she is truly deserving of high praise; and

| WHEREAS, Through Rita Haynes' efforts as chief executive officer of Faith United Community Credit Union, she has been instrumental in starting such initiatives as Amazing Grace and Greater Grace, which offer programs for mercy mortgages, grace loans, individual development accounts, and guaranteed business loans, and under her leadership, this fine financial instituition has more than doubled its assets and membership. Through her generous contributions, she has earned the respect and esteem of many, and we are certain that in the years to come, she will continue to display the same unwavering commitment to excellence for which she has become known; and |
| WHEREAS, Rita Haynes has willingly given of her time, energy, and abilities to better the world around her and has displayed a degree of competence and skill of which she can be proud. It is through the efforts of public spirited individuals such as she, who are dedicated to serving the community to the best of their ability, that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Rita Haynes on her exemplary accomplishment and salute her as one of Ohio's finest citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Rita Haynes. |
