Representatives Maag, Book, Blessing
Honoring the Indian Hill High School Mock Trial team
on winning the 2009 State Championship.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Indian Hill High School Mock Trial team as the 2009 State Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, Ohio Mock Trial is an award-winning program of the Ohio Center for Law Related Education, a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that encourages responsible participation in the democratic process through educational programs in law and citizenship. The members of the Indian Hill High School Mock Trial team have combined talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge, and as a result, they defeated a tough Archbishop Hoban High School squad to place first at this year's Ohio Mock Trial State Competition; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, the students of the Indian Hill High School Mock Trial team have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud. Their accomplishments are an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their school, their advisors, Stephen Reger, Dave Prem, and Chuck Reynolds, and the community; and |
| WHEREAS, Members Elaine Baynham, Danny Strunk, Paul Salvado, Asif Rahman, Rigby Wilkins, Hannah Conn, Austin Bauer, Divaya Taneja, and Sonam Jindal have displayed a sincere desire to fully develop their talents so that they might fulfill their goals in the future, and this, combined with their maturity and initiative, shows their potential to become some of tomorrow's leaders; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Indian Hill High School Mock Trial team on its success and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Indian Hill High School Mock Trial team. |
