Representatives Patten, Foley, DeGeeter
Honoring the Polaris Career Center senior chef training team
on winning first place in the state competition.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Polaris Career Center senior chef training team as the 2009 Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America State Champion; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Polaris Career Center senior chef training team, including Marianne Demarest, Jim Riggle, and Jacob Scheuer, have combined talent and competitive spirit with exceptional knowledge, and as a result, they placed first in this year's state contest. They are deserving of high praise; and |
| WHEREAS, Throughout long hours of practice and preparation, the members of the Polaris Career Center senior chef training team have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud. Their accomplishments are an excellent reflection not only on them but also on their families, their school, their advisors, and the community; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Polaris Career Center senior chef training team have displayed a sincere desire to fully develop their culinary talents so that they might fulfill their goals in the future, and this, combined with their maturity and initiative, shows their potential to become some of tomorrow's leaders. They have set an example worthy of emulation; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate the Polaris Career Center senior chef training team for outstanding achievement and extend best wishes for the future; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Polaris Career Center senior chef training team. |
