A RESOLUTION
Honoring the Versailles FFA Chapter
as the Number One chapter in Ohio.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to commend the Versailles FFA Chapter on being ranked first in Ohio at the 2009 State FFA Convention; and |
| WHEREAS, The members of the Versailles FFA Chapter are deserving of recognition, for they have demonstrated exceptional diligence and enthusiasm, as well as an unwavering dedication to the goals and principles of the National FFA Organization. All those associated with this fine group have displayed a degree of determination and motivation of which they can be proud, and as a result of their efforts, the chapter was named the overall best in the State of Ohio for the second consecutive year and ranked first in the area of student development at this year's State FFA Convention; and |
| WHEREAS, The maturity and experience the members of the Versailles FFA Chapter have gained through their participation in FFA will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of tomorrow. Indeed, they have set an example of excellence that is worthy of emulation; and |
| WHEREAS, FFA combines the wisdom and leadership of adults with the enthusiasm and optimism of youth so that our young people will be better prepared to assume meaningful, rewarding roles in society. It is certainly encouraging to know that the future of Ohio agriculture lies, to a large extent, in the capable hands of conscientious individuals such as all those affiliated with the Versailles FFA Chapter; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Versailles FFA Chapter on its recent accomplishment and salute its members as some of Ohio's finest young citizens; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Versailles FFA Chapter. |
