A RESOLUTION
Honoring Richard J. Billak
on receiving the 2009 Arthur McDonald Leadership and Service Award.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATE OF OHIO:
| WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Richard J. Billak as the recipient of the International Community Corrections Association's 2009 Arthur McDonald Leadership and Service Award; and |
| WHEREAS, As chief executive officer of the Community Corrections Association of Youngstown and a former president of the International Community Corrections Association, Richard Billak has exhibited exceptional initiative, skill, and creativity and has endeared himself to everyone who appreciates intelligence, integrity, and determination. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a commitment to community based corrections and has played a vital role in the success of all endeavors with which he has been involved. Both the scope and intensity of his work have been quite extraordinary, and he has contributed significantly to the fine reputation that CCA of Youngstown now enjoys; and |
| WHEREAS, Richard Billak's unstinting contributions of time, talent, and seemingly inexhaustible energy have gained him the respect and admiration of all those who have had the privilege of working with him. Knowledgeable, resourceful, and dependable, he has pursued his goals in a painstaking manner, never failing to surpass even the most demanding expectations, and he has amply demonstrated how very much a conscientious and industrious person can accomplish; and |
| WHEREAS, Hard-working and enthusiastic in all areas of endeavor, Richard Billak is held in high regard by co-workers and colleagues alike. His record of achievement demonstrates a true commitment to professional excellence, and we encourage him to maintain his sincere concern for the world around him; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, congratulate Richard J. Billak on his recent honor and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further |
