A RESOLUTION
In memory of Sergeant Jon Michael Schoolcraft.
| WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Specialist Jon Michael Schoolcraft in their bereavement; and |
| WHEREAS, Jon Schoolcraft left an indelible impression on the people whose lives he touched, and he will be remembered as a spirited individual who contributed immeasurably to the world around him. A member of the United States military serving in Iraq, he embodied a combination of knowledge and commitment that made him a truly valuable part of our country's armed forces, and as his name is inscribed on the Veterans Memorial Civic Center's Memorial Wall, we take this opportunity to remember his exceptional record of service, a legacy that will surely live on; and |
| WHEREAS, Jon Schoolcraft's zealous love of life and his selfless devotion to the welfare of others distinguished him as an outstanding human being and a leading citizen. The love, compassion, and understanding he so readily extended to others will long remain in the hearts and minds of all who knew him; and |
| WHEREAS, The ultimate sacrifice that Jon Schoolcraft made to defend the ideals of democracy will stand as a monument to his personal character. It is our sincere hope that his memory will be a source of comfort to those who loved and cherished him; therefore be it |
| RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, express a profound sense of loss and sincere regret at the death of Specialist Jon Michael Schoolcraft; and be it further |
| RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the family of Specialist Jon Michael Schoolcraft. |
