Senators Husted, Strahorn 

Honoring the Dayton Area Board of Realtors on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
       WHEREAS,  The members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Dayton Area Board of Realtors on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth Anniversary, celebrated October 15, 2009; and

       WHEREAS,  Recognition of this prestigious milestone is a fitting tribute to the Dayton Area Board of Realtors, for it has achieved a remarkable record of service to Ohio. Since its establishment in 1909, the agency has expanded to encompass Montgomery, Greene, Preble, and Warren counties, and its members have remained committed to helping consumers gain homeownership, advancing civil rights equality and fair housing for everyone, and providing scholarships, supplies, and educational opportunities to children. Its accomplishments are a justifiable source of pride and an outstanding reflection not only on the board itself but also on its dedicated members and hard-working staff; and

       WHEREAS,  Over the years, the Dayton Area Board of Realtors has enhanced the quality of life within the State of Ohio, and its generous contributions have earned it the respect and gratitude of all those it has so capably served. We are certain that as this worthy organization maintains its devotion to service, it will continue in the tradition of excellence that has long been its hallmark, and it is truly deserving of high praise; and

       WHEREAS,  We are proud to note that it is through the unceasing efforts of agencies such as the Dayton Area Board of Realtors that Ohio has gained a reputation as a state that is responsive to the needs of its citizens. It is due to groups such as this that the state has remained a pleasant place in which to live and work; therefore be it

       RESOLVED,  That we, the members of the Senate of the 128th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Dayton Area Board of Realtors on its Centennial and extend best wishes for ongoing success; and be it further

       RESOLVED,  That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Dayton Area Board of Realtors.
